2Toits

Terms of use

Last updated: July 9, 2026 · Version 1.3 · Primary language: French

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using 2Toits, you agree to these terms of use and to our privacy policy.

2. Service

2Toits is a mobile application for co-parent coordination designed for separated parents in Quebec and Canada. It provides a shared calendar, expense tracking and a timestamped handover journal.

3. Account and eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
  • All activity under your account is attributable to you.

4. Explicit consents (Bill 25, art. 12)

When creating your account, you explicitly consent to the Terms of use and the Privacy policy, and confirm you are 18 or older. Each consent is timestamped server-side. You may withdraw consent to 2Toits notifications (push and transactional emails) at any time from Profile > Notification service.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Premium subscriptions are billed via Apple App Store or Google Play. Legal Pack is not yet available and is currently planned for Fall 2026. Refund terms follow the relevant platform. You can cancel at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings.

6. Data and journal integrity

All entries (events, expenses, handovers) are server-timestamped, signed with SHA-256 and cryptographically chained. This design makes tampering detectable. Entries cannot be deleted once confirmed; they can only be marked invalidated with a reason.

7. Acceptable use

  • No illegal, defamatory or harassing content.
  • No use to collect third-party data without consent.
  • No attempt to bypass security mechanisms.

8. Intellectual property

The 2Toits brand, logo and source code remain the exclusive property of 2Toits. Your personal data and the content you publish remain yours.

9. Limitation of liability

2Toits provides a coordination tool and an evidentiary journal. We are not a law firm or a mediator and do not provide legal advice. Our liability is limited to the amount paid in the last twelve months, subject to mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms, in accordance with the rights granted by Quebec Law 25.

Deletion on your request: you may delete your account at any time from the app (Profile > Delete my account) or by emailing privacy@2toits.ca. Detailed procedure: /en/delete-account.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; significant changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and applicable federal Canadian laws. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
